FOR YOU

THIS YEAR WE HAVE SAVED YOU OVER £250 PER PERSON.

HOW? OUR COMMITMENT TO FAIR PRICING

To keep our holidays affordable for the community and help with the rise in living costs, we work constantly to find initiatives that will result in lower costs for your holidays. We can proudly summarise the fantastic results achieved this year.

FUNDRAISING
We have launched a crowdfunding campaign to help us reopen post-covid and cover some of our internal costs, together with 12 fundraisers from the VI community we have raised, £17,915 from 205 supporters.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
We have joined forces with a fantastic corporate partner Stats Perform, a sports content giant, expanding its commitment to tackling inequalities and supporting underrepresented groups across the world of sport by partnering with Seable.
Stats Perform kindly sponsored the costs for 3 volunteer chaperones to be trained and support us on 3 of our group holidays.
LOW SALARIES
A big Thank you to our Seable staff members and Director who for the first year of operation post-covid have agreed to a minimum wage salary and to our non-executive Directors who have helped us on a pro-bono basis.
LOW FEES
On average we charge 15-20% mark-ups on all our holidays.  All profits are reinvested in the company to improve the holiday offers, train chaperones, and cover our internal costs. We also have an “asset lock” which means we are allowed to use our funds only for the fulfillment of our Mission.
When we create a new destination or train a new chaperone we offer the holiday at cost, without charging any profits. We offer these holidays to existing customers that are happy to try out new activities and give feedback as well as finalising the training of a new chaperone. Your feedback and assistance in these holidays are vital to ensure we design the best accessible holidays available.
Guiding
As part of our mission, we commit to employing VI staff members as the majority of our workforce. Please keep checking our Careers page for any new vacancies we have within Seable.
“To me, it just makes sense. The holidays are for blind people and they should be organised by them.” Quote from a recent article on the lightning travel blog https://lightningtravelrecruitment.com/article/how-to-make-your-business-disability-inclusive-as-told-by-the-disabled-community
