DAY 1: ARRIVAL DAY

Bonjourno, welcome to Naples! Your local sighted guide at airport arrivals will meet you.

You will head to your city centre hotel where your sighted guide will help you check in and do a room orientation. Here, you can have some time to unpack and relax before you meet again to run through your holiday itinerary one more time together.

Then, when you are ready, we will go on a discovery walk of the centre and introduce you to the city. We will then start tasting the delicious street food, starting with a typical fried pizza in the best family-owned Fried Pizza place where only locals go.

After you can enjoy an evening walk in town, with a visit to the famous Cathedral of Naples and evening dinner locally.

DAY 2: OLD CITY TACTILE TOUR AND UNDERGROUND CITY

Your sighted guide will meet you at your hotel for a delicious traditional breakfast. Once you are full and ready for the day, we start the day with a walking Tactile tour of the Old City of Neapolis. Walk the main streets and small alleys and learn about legends, superstitious rituals, skulls, and theatrical characters. 

After, we take a stop for lunch in a typical “Locanda,” where you can taste and learn about Neapolitan historic dishes. 

In the afternoon, we will walk the street of the Nativities and visit the local artisanal area, stop for a Neapolitan pastry to recharge and then visit the underground Tour of the City. An experience from Ancient Rome with a network of tunnels and chambers that were used for various purposes, including storage, shelter, and even as a secret passageway and refuge for the Neapolitans during World War II. 

After a rest and freshen-up back at the hotel, we will go for dinner in a traditional local restaurant.

DAY 3: POMPEII AND MOUNT VESUVIUS

After another delicious breakfast, we start the journey to Pompeii’s archeological site. On the tour, you will discover the Roman city destroyed by the volcano’s eruption. It’s a whole interactive tour where you will touch and learn all of the eruption that changed history.

After, we drive towards the Vesuvius area and enjoy lunch in the Gulf of Naples at the feet of the world-famous volcano.

Then, we take a light hike on Mount Vesuvius, where you will experience the smell of sulfur from one of its creators. Once the hike is finished, we stop for a tasting of products and delicacies of the region at a local farmers’ shop.

We drive back to the hotel for a rest, and then we go for an aperitivo and dinner in the city center.

DAY 4: ROYAL NAPLES AND PIZZA MAKING CLASS

After breakfast, we will take the subway, and head to the Royal Palace and Bay area. Have a walk through Castles, grand piazzas, Royal Palace and Gallery and world’s oldest Opera theatre. The Royal Naples walk is a tour of castles, royal buildings, seaside panoramas, and elegant streets. Naples has been the capital of its kingdom from 1266 until 1861: we will relive the city’s glorious past and walk in the footsteps of the Kings. We will take you through the most elegant streets of the city, overlooking Vesuvius, Capri, and the Bay of Naples. Discover timeless legends and find out more about the foundation of Parthenope. Finished with a visit to one of the most famous Castles of the city, “Maschio Angioino” 

For lunch, we will walk along the beautiful seafront and enjoy a lunch by the seaside panoramic area near the legendary “Castle of the Egg” (..where it all started!)

Afterward, we will head back to the hotel for a rest, and then, when ready, we will go to the Pizzeria with Gennaro to learn how to make and enjoy the world-famous Neapolitan pizza; finishing the night by enjoying the fruits of your labor!

DAY 5: DEPARTURE DAY

Time to say, Arrivederci Naples.

After one last delicious traditional breakfast, we will help you check out of your accommodation and take you to the airport so you can start your journey home.
