DAY 1: ARRIVAL DAY

Buongiorno! Welcome to Venice!
You will be met at Venice Airport by your local Seable sighted guide.

Get ready to explore a one-of-a-kind city where canals replace streets and every corner holds a story. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and begin your transfer to your centrally located hotel, nestled in the heart of the Venetian lagoon. Your private transfer will take you to Piazzale Roma, followed by a short vaporetto (water bus) ride into the city centre, your first sensory introduction to the rhythm, sounds, and movement of Venice.

Once at the hotel, your guide will assist with check-in and a room orientation. Here, you can unpack, relax, and settle in before meeting again to review your holiday itinerary together.

In the evening, begin your Venetian adventure with a gentle walking tour through the city’s winding alleys, historic squares, and hidden sotoporteghi (covered alleyways). You’ll take in the atmosphere of the canals and lively campo squares before stopping at a traditional bacaro (local bar) for an authentic Venetian aperitivo – a selection of cicchetti (small, tapas-style bites) served with a refreshing spritz or non-alcoholic option.

Later, enjoy your welcome dinner at a cosy local trattoria, where regional specialities and a warm setting will mark the perfect start to your holiday.

DAY 2: COFFEE, CULTURE & CONTEMPORARY ART

Your Seable sighted guide will meet you at your hotel, ready to start the day with a traditional Italian breakfast.
Savour rich, aromatic coffee, fresh pastries, and local specialities, the perfect way to energise for a full day ahead.

Your morning begins with an immersive coffee tasting at one of Venice’s last remaining traditional roasters. Discover the roasting process, inhale the deep aromas, and sample a range of unique blends, engaging your senses from start to finish.

Next, explore the historic Cannaregio district, home to the world’s oldest Jewish Ghetto. As you walk its quiet alleys and visit key landmarks, your guide will share the powerful stories that shaped this unique part of the city’s identity.

For lunch, enjoy a relaxed meal at a local osteria, known for its warm atmosphere, Venetian home-cooking, and accessible layout, a chance to experience the city’s flavours in an authentic setting.

In the afternoon, visit the renowned Peggy Guggenheim Museum, where you’ll explore modern and contemporary art through an adapted, sensory-rich tour. Tactile elements and audio descriptions bring the collection to life in a uniquely engaging way.

After a full day, return to the hotel to relax and freshen up before the evening.

DAY 3: DOGES, BASILICA & VENETIAN ROWING

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll begin your journey into Venice’s grand and storied past with a visit to the iconic Palazzo Ducale (Doge’s Palace).
Explore its magnificent chambers, cross the Bridge of Sighs, and uncover centuries of political intrigue. With your Seable guide by your side, you’ll access tactile features and audio descriptions that bring the building’s history to life in a fully immersive way.

Following the visit, enjoy a relaxed lunch at a nearby accessible trattoria, where you can taste classic Venetian dishes and reflect on the morning’s discoveries.

In the afternoon, we’ll take a short stroll to St. Mark’s Basilica. Although we won’t enter the church today, the exterior offers a rich sensory experience, featuring ornate marble columns, textured stonework, and the atmospheric sounds of the surrounding square.

After some time back at the hotel to rest and freshen up, your evening adventure awaits.

Later, experience a unique and peaceful rowing session through the quiet canals of Cannaregio. Guided by an expert from one of Venice’s last remaining traditional rowing schools, you’ll learn about the history and technique of Venetian rowing while feeling the rhythm of the city from the water.

DAY 4: MURANO GLASS & CARNIVAL SECRETS

Today begins with a delicious breakfast at your hotel, preparing you for a day of hands-on experiences and sensory delights.
We’ll take an early vaporetto ride across the Venetian Lagoon to the island of Murano, world-renowned for its glassmaking heritage. At a traditional glassblowing school, you’ll witness skilled artisans shaping molten glass into exquisite forms. Feel the heat of the working furnace and explore the textures of the finished pieces, smooth, ridged, and delicate in your hands, while your guide shares the fascinating history of this craft.

After our visit, we’ll return to the main island and enjoy a relaxed lunch at a local bacaro or trattoria. Taste authentic Venetian dishes in a casual setting, surrounded by the sounds and scents of the lagoon city.

In the afternoon, we’ll continue with a visit to a traditional Venetian carnival mask workshop. Here, you’ll learn about the origins and meanings behind these iconic masks. Through a guided sensory experience, you’ll explore their materials, paper-mâché, feathers, fabrics, and feel the intricate details of each creation.

Later, we’ll return to the hotel for some time to rest and refresh.

To celebrate our final evening together, we’ll gather at a local restaurant for a farewell dinner. In a warm and atmospheric setting, you’ll enjoy a menu full of Venetian specialities, rich in flavour, tradition, and the spirit of the city.

DAY 5: DEPARTURE DAY

After breakfast, your guide will assist with check-out and a final room check to ensure nothing is left behind.
It’s time to say farewell to Venice. Together, we’ll make our way to the airport. The journey includes one last vaporetto ride through the lagoon, take in the fresh, salty air and the soft sounds of water lapping against the boat, a final sensory farewell to this magical city.

Upon arrival at the terminal, airport assistance will be ready to support you through check-in and boarding, ensuring a smooth journey home.

As we part ways, you’ll take with you unforgettable memories of Venice’s rich history, unique rhythm, and timeless charm.

Flights are not included in the price.
Return flights typically range between £95–£200 per person (excluding luggage).

We recommend flying into Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) between 12:00–3:00 PM on Thursday 19 March, so a Seable staff member can meet you upon arrival.

If you choose to arrive or depart at a different time, we can arrange a private transfer for you (additional fees apply), and you’ll meet the Seable team at the accommodation.

Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry.
