DAY 1: ARRIVAL DAY

Guten Tag! Welcome to Vienna!
You will be met at Vienna International Airport (VIE) by your local Seable-trained sighted guide.

Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your centrally located hotel in the heart of Vienna. Your private transfer ensures a smooth start to your holiday and a gentle introduction to the city’s rhythm and sounds.

Once at the hotel, your guide will assist with check-in and a room orientation. Here, you can unpack, relax, and settle in before beginning your afternoon activities.

In the afternoon, begin your Viennese adventure with a gentle walk through the monumental courtyards of the Hofburg Palace, feeling the scale and history beneath your feet. Afterwards, indulge in the original Sacher cake at Café Sacher, savouring its rich chocolate layers and smooth apricot filling.

In the evening, enjoy your welcome dinner at a cosy local restaurant, where traditional Austrian dishes and a warm atmosphere will provide the perfect start to your immersive journey through Vienna.

DAY 2: ART AND MUSIC IN VIENNA

Your Seable sighted guide will meet you at your hotel, and together you’ll start the day with a traditional Viennese breakfast, freshly baked rolls, rich coffee, and sweet or savoury local specialities to energise you for the day ahead.

Begin your morning with a touch tour at Belvedere Palace, where specially adapted experiences allow you to explore masterpieces by Klimt, Schiele, and Messerhausen. Through tactile models and guided description, the artworks come alive in texture, form, and story.

Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local Viennese restaurant, known for its hearty dishes and welcoming atmosphere.

After lunch, we continue to the House of Music for a multisensory journey into Vienna’s rich musical heritage. Experiment with sound installations, explore rhythm and melody through touch and movement, and discover the stories of the great composers who shaped the city.

Return to the hotel for some time to relax and freshen up before the evening.

Dinner at a nearby traditional Austrian restaurant, where you’ll taste regional favourites in a cosy, relaxed setting,  the perfect way to reflect on the day’s discoveries.

DAY 3: HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF VIENNA

Start the day with breakfast at your hotel,  freshly baked rolls, rich coffee, and a selection of local favourites.

Explore the medieval centre of Vienna with your guide, including a visit to Judenplatz. Here you’ll encounter the Holocaust memorial, a powerful and moving site that preserves the memory of Vienna’s Jewish history.

Pause for a traditional Viennese lunch in the city centre, where you can enjoy classic dishes in a welcoming setting.

Visit St Stephen’s Cathedral, the city’s most iconic landmark. Step inside its awe-inspiring interior before ascending to the South Tower for a panoramic experience, offering breathtaking views over Vienna.

We will then continue to the Vienna City Museum, recently renovated and recognised as a leader in accessibility. With tactile exhibits and inclusive interpretation, the city’s history is brought vividly to life for all visitors.

In the late afternoon, we will return to your hotel to rest and freshen up before the evening.

Dinner at a local restaurant, where you’ll enjoy Austrian specialities in a relaxed atmosphere.

DAY 4: GARDENS AND WINE IN VIENNA

Begin your day with breakfast at your hotel, savouring freshly baked rolls, rich coffee, and local Austrian specialities to energise you for the adventures ahead.

Step into the gardens of Belvedere Palace, where baroque pathways, fragrant flowers, and gentle fountains invite exploration. With your Seable-trained guide, experience the textures underfoot, the scent of blooms, and the soft sounds of nature in this elegant, historic setting.

Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant, sampling light seasonal dishes crafted to delight the palate before you continue your sensory journey through Vienna.

Travel with your guide to the mountain hamlet of Grinzing, renowned for its traditional wine taverns and welcoming village atmosphere. Here, immerse yourself in a wine and local food tasting, savouring regional specialities perfectly paired with crisp Austrian wines, accompanied by the cheerful buzz and music of this charming village.

Return to your hotel to relax, refresh, and reflect on the day’s discoveries.

DAY 5: DEPARTURE DAY

After breakfast, your guide will assist with check-out and a final room check to ensure nothing is left behind.

We’ll help you say farewell to Vienna and assist with your transfer to the airport. Upon arrival, our shared adventure comes to a close.

Airport assistance will help you with your onward travel, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Vienna’s rich history, culture, and charm.

Return flights typically range between £64 and £200 per person (excluding luggage).

We recommend flying into Vienna International Airport (VIE) between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM on Thursday, 3 September 2026, so a Seable staff member can meet you upon arrival.

If you choose to arrive or depart at a different time, we can arrange a private transfer for you (additional fees apply), and you’ll meet the Seable team at the accommodation.
